We aren't we

We aren't we

We aren't we
But I am thankful to have an illusion
That I have a somebody to care for me
That despite all the problems
You care to call and ease the tensions
Disturbing continuously
Making me abit well
Knowing that we aren't we.

We aren't we
But I am thankful for having a companion
Somewhat mistaken as together others may see
That we enjoy the world from noon till dusk
And you show a concern if your friend damned me much
All end up in sketchbooks stored in cabinet old quite such
Making me abit well
Knowing that we aren't we

But someday you are leaving
Becoming part of my past
Times all a changing
But a friendship never last
Perhaps if we meet again
I hope that isn't a joke
For your call brings back together
This time you and I are we.

We aren't we
But I am thankful for making me happy
All despite the differences, the strangeness what comes from me
You care about your friends, I care much about my colleagues
You love to drink and parties, Yet I rather read books and gone to rallies
Yet still you afford to call for a meet
Making me abit well
Knowing that we aren't we.

We aren't we
But I am thankful for enjoying the time
Regardless of their shit and grime
Yes, I had to resist it all the time
You may deemed me weird in your eyes
Yet despite all these your friendship made me realize
Making me abit well
Knowing that we aren't we

But someday you are leaving
Becoming part of my past
Yes this person may end weeping
All but silent till the last
And as my heart calls your name
Replying yours as I may say
Hoping someday we'll be together
This time you and I are we.
