"Still, all for Land, Bread, and Justice in Hacienda Luisita"

"Still, all for Land, Bread, and Justice
 in Hacienda Luisita"

It's been fifteen years past this tragic incident.

For at the mercy of the Aquino-Cojuangco clan and of Gloria Arroyo's regime, the farmers and farmworkers of Hacienda Luisita and the Central Azucarera de Tarlac hath fought tooth and nail all for land distribution and to save their families from death from a starvation wage of P9.50.

However, their clamors, regardless of its justness, end fell on the despotic-minded police and militar's deaf ears, and instead respond by a hail of bullets. From there seven farmers hath offered their lives in the struggle for their land and justice, worse, to justify that saidth carnage by outright redtagging and maligning their cause.
And also to think that even this grisly massacre doesn't escape irony- as Rodrigo Duterte's first AFP chief-of-staff in 2016, Ricardo Visaya, was the very same general implicated in that carnage. He was also became administrator of the National Irrigation Administration making him one of personalities behind Duterte's militarisation of the cabinet and government service.

And contrary to the mainline statements that the Hacienda been handed to the landless, that even up to this day, zero justice has been served to these folks while Duterte's armed thugs rersistently rampages on the countryside murdering 230 farmers in the name of stability and other.
The order may tend to deny it altogether or blame the peasant for being rebellious or assertive, but, from this tragic incident, like those in Mendiola, Lupao, Kidapawan, Negros, and others, would say that the victims were all extremely poor peasants, being deprived of the right to cultivate their land and forced to content on a starvation wage, and because of their assertions of justice, all massacred by the state.

Pethaps if one still don’t care nor see this pattern, it’s either intentionally trying to be ignorant or outrightly blaming the peasant for not being contented in its poverty and instead asserting social justice. But despite all these this doesn't stop the people from seeking truth from facts and to assert the idea that is, to promote justice for these people, especially those who sacrificed their lives all for the land that's precious in their hearts.
