"More than a picture"

"More than a picture"

(or how Karen Testibia prefers to be called 'witty' than 'pretty')

"For your beauty remains Enchanted...
there's a new music in the wind..."

At first, this person would say that it's been long overdue to made this writeup although he made some few poems for that person whom he befriend with. That based on her pictures, she is appreciated by people for being a model if not an artist, but to her closest friends (including yours truly), she is a thinker and a willing chemist.

For a friend, it would say that despite her numerous pictures and videos featuring her as a talent, Karen is plain and simply doing her job. She just love her craft so much as she tries to humanise the image of her given character, if not wanting to make every film she had participated "too good to be true."

And based from observations would say that her's is more than just "beauty" and "charm". True indeed given her numerous appearances be it from the ramp, as a host at a certain event, as a talent in mainstream "drama", and an actress in independent cinema. That her appearance is of Malay-Pacific, skin kissed by the sun, "exotic" to the eyes of a stereotypical guy seeking for a girlfriend;
but again, she is more than that, she prefers to describe herself as "witty" and "courageous", and based from her experiences, this writer would say that she loves to look at the microorganisms through the microscope if not willing to fight like a man when it comes to brawls, listening to Metal, assembling the gun, understanding the reality and the willingness to seek change in the society. Isn't it that far from what men think of her as just plain simple "beautiful?"

"She loves Mixing Chemicals and how to weave cloth"
Sorry for the words, but her life and work is more than just the pictures being shown. She may be as pretty as any other model like Cindy Crawford with all her elegance, but she prefers to speak and think like Ninotchka Rosca; she may be sexier like Ina Raymundo but wanting to become like Marie Curie, she may be charming like Bangs Garcia but she chose the courage of Gabriela Cariño Silang, men may have appreciated her for what she is shown, but will these same men also understood what really comes from her such as yearning for social change or even her love for mixing chemicals for a formula? Hope so.

Well, like her, women tries to break from the conventions, what more of showing far from the usual descriptions, it takes two to tango or good hands to play the piano, and to use Florentino Cruz's essay, he said:

"Rizal spoke of womanhood, and the most telling document he bequeathed to the Filipino race is his 'A letter to the young women of Malolos', which in effect demands courage."

To become a fighter like Gabriela Cariño Silang?
Or to become a Chemist like Marie Curie?
And perhaps the courage of these young women is embedded in that person's persona, like a Spartan  girl of the past willing to face the odds as possible, that during her High School days she got good grades like those in section 5 regardless of actually being in the 14th section; that she passed the admission test of the premier state university regardless of her school's pessimism thinking that none will able to pass that test. That she joined the militant struggle with a feeling that with a system such as today's, with its tailored mass-mediocrity in the name of curbing possible dissent, specifically, replacing a persona such as politically aware woman with those of a nagging yet socio-politically apathetic bitch. And of course! It is disagreeable!
Such circumstances demands courage, and this person sees the wit and courage than the typical beauty and charm.  Her roles shows the flexibility, but she temper it with a real, human character like any other thespian who tends to show more than emotion when it comes to drama. Again, she is just doing her job but she tempers it "with some value" to appear more than "just taking a role and nothing else."

Maybe time comes that with her friends, she would have fulfilled her wish to be a girl who loves the frontline, whose role preferring the scent of gunpowder than rose-scent perfume, if not the iron sword over the silk fan.
And to paraphrase Jose Maria Sison's poem "the forest remains enchanted", this person would say that:

"Her beauty remains enchanted,
And there's a new music in the wind,
With a new magic in her loving face
Admired by her folks and friends,
And with a fighting spirit has imbued over
To lure and astonish the intruders..."

To this person, her's is more than a series of pictures or roles he had sought in the screen, enough to be loved.

Thus, no wonder why he made few poems for her.

Thank you.

"After seeing Miah Llanes as Marceline the Vampire Queen in his dream"

"After seeing Miah Llanes
as Marceline the Vampire Queen in his dream"

Sorry for the title but the title matches both real and the make believe, the tangible and the intangible, as well the fact and the fiction this writer sees of.

Since in this writeup originally made for Halloween, was all made after a week's recollection of ideas both from watching "Adventure time", reading some earlier writeups (like goth scene), as well as being with this writer's friends from his watering hole.

And fact, one of this writer's friends seemingly fit to become a "vampire queen" all because of watching "Adventure time" and having somewhat resemblance in her appearance and perhaps, attitude.

Admittingly speaking, quite strange at first  for this writer to feature about one of his friends and be compared to one of the characters of "Adventure time" such as this. Isn't because she is slim? long haired? Easy going? Well, upon meeting together with Miah and her friends, she likes a fun filled alcohol-laced adventure who loves tricking some of her friends, even this writer's that catches the latter's imagination of comparing her to a vampire queen whose "evil plans" (according to Adventure time Wiki) often turn out to be nothing more than elaborate jokes.

And in comparing Miah to Marceline, especially her easy-going nature and her slim physique, this writer also once heard her singing; that somehow needs some training if she also opted singing as part of her career other than modeling. However, she's more into pop and house music due to her love for parties and alcohol-laced escapades this writer had one-time been part of (but still he prefers writing and a lifestyle that as chill as a chilled coffee).

Unless she end carrying a guitar and play to the tune of a song that would water a burning heart full of agonies in it.

However, despite her love for modeling, Miah carries uniqueness such as friendliness and perhaps a degree of love for knowledge. She is indeed a model, but some, if not most or few have the capacity to carry flexibility and the use of thine mind to deal with reality. This writer, upon entering her humble abode, and even seeing her busy doing her study habits, somehow showed the reality behind what most think about girls in ramp such as reading a book and enjoying a good conversation.

In fact, according to Miah (during one of this writer's chitchats), she loves to argue, rather say debate in regards to contradicting ideas and views and she even wanted to become a teacher other than managing and perhaps events coordinating like her friends (such as Marina) who wanted to, that this writer, using the views of others would think of it strangely especially that she's into high culture yet she wanted to be an intellectual such as wanting to teach and a person for others.

And in seeing pictures bearing her love for fashion such as on the ramp, especially the one firing a Browning, somehow reminds of this writer's sketches such as a rifle-bearing maiden. This writer may haven't seen her in the ramp, but in being with her in every meet-up, chitchat, and food trips, likely to say that "yes she may be likely to be described as 'beautiful' but she carries greater than the beauty she showed to us" with examples such as her friendliness, humility, sense of simplicity, a degree of passion for knowledge, and love for words (like "the life and love we create is the life and love we live") all despite the fashion accessories, make up and a dash of naughtiness? That's Miah Llanes.

Anyways, as a writer's suggestion for a model, Miah would have wore these due to her somewhat resemblance with the vampire queen in a cartoon known some people think of its weird graphics and characters, thinking that she had the height, the appearance, minus the fangs, and perhaps since she's versatile, somehow she can manage to do what Marceline has...

And if she sings rock, then would be better! :)

Well, perhaps in all hollow's eve, this writer  again likes to become like Finn and meeting one of his galley friends in a strange world what Adventure time made of.

Or rather say a childish Finn meeting his Marceline.

Marina: A writer's joy and an artist's delight

Marina: A writer's joy and an artist's delight
(originally entitled: "Mu Marina, mu õnn ja rõõm")

Sorry for the original Estonian title (that originally meant My Marina, my joy, delight), since this writer is greatly inspired by someone whom made him happy after getting depressed for months being left by a someone else during those times. Quite strange isn't it so make a description of her's but true.

In fact, it all started when this writer sought a brown haired maiden in the inn; quite enchanting though yet shyness overcame this person at first and even apologized after she approached in the table this writer sat over.

But thine shyness passed out on the next day, this time as she approached and looked at this writer's sketches, quite amused, asked this writer's name and announceth her's as "Marina Kuroshima" along with a handshake.

Well, that first meeting be described as a joy and delight on the writer's side: a maiden who is nice, well refined, pretty that perhaps men would fall over and be describe as "beloved."

Describing Marina as this writer's "Yna"

Coming from a Japanese father and a Filipina mother, "Yna", as this writer simply called her, is a sweet, jolly girl who loves to dance, play volleyball, admire sporty men and to create cocktails out of vodka and perhaps soda. In fact, this writer felt so amazed that from the first time he've met in the galley seems that she carries a somewhat semblance to his works but quite doubtful if she carries the ideals (using the view of others so to speak).

But then, despite these descriptions this writer saidth, especially that she admire sporty men, she preferred to remain single (being separated from her boyfriend rather), focused in her career, and perhaps in her craft as a model all after the pictures indicating that she's a model in every car show she've involved. That, somehow this writer who also draws a lot perhaps ought her beauty and charm meant like "holy water for with which the priest consecrates the heart-burnings of the aristocrat." (sorry Marx.)

And as this writer continuously writing and perhaps sketching, this lovable Yna inspired him that somehow made lighten up from his depression; to think that every time this writer and Yna meet, whether in the Galley or outside, people would describe something yet on this writer's behalf yes, he is inspired, he felt the charm and affection that somehow remind of a valkyrie siring over a dying warrior; quite strange.

Getting inspired, both sketch and poem

Sorry again for the title, since being an artist, this writer tend to revisit back sketching after getting depressed for months; he may've draw yet becoming much seldom, more of doodling so to speak, yet Yna made him compel to drew more and perhaps experiment further in other works such as poetry.

Obviously, during lunchtime, this writer carries his sketchpad and while waiting for his favorite meal, he raised his pencil then sketched what comes from his mind; that, perhaps releases all of his creativity, passion, and of being inspired, especially after seeing Yna, her friends, or even customers especially the professor's son who often stays at the galley during lunch.

And since he loves to sketch Yna, here are samples:

In this sketch for instance featured a girl similar to Yna as well as one of her clients with his favorite Pesto and Mushroom.

This sketch, partly based from Alexandr Pushkin's statue, featured a man staring at a girl wearing the signature attire this writer often drew.

Quite strange, but in fact, this writer, since he's inspired though, does not limit his (near) affection to Yna to the sketchpad. In fact he revisits his poetry work, made a sample and even made it singable to the tune of "Hen Wlad fy Nhadau".

"Marina's theme"

The woman that I love is so dear to me
The maiden whom ministrels called honored and free
Thy maiden like risen from the deep blue sea
Enchanted whose love all meant "we"

Love, love, true am I to my love
With your voice thy call, thus never befall
Marina, thy art, love, and all.

The maiden, Marina, thy dearest and nice
Whose lips like red cherries and skin rosy white
Whose charm worth appaling, and so is her love
That thrusts mind, heart soul all and all

Enchanted, appealing, thy maiden of bards
Your beauty eternal, that ease lonesome's heart
To you o my patron just like from the start
I promise till death us do part

With your voice all turned tales and so thus I keep
That end up like this poem with love meant to speak
You muse may've eluded the hate to the knives
With your harp our love will survive

The woman that I love is so dear to me
Forever our love all meant "we."

Quite weird though in making this singable poem, using a Welsh song as its sound, that perhaps this writer felt the beauty of the sound that made him compel to do so out of admiring Yna.

After all, he's into the arts, and being an artist needs an inspiration, a variety of inspirations so to speak; but as expected, Yna carries the warmth in a way that she also loves summer, beaches, and vodka laced sodas that quench the thirst of a desperate guy "seeking for love and adventure entwined" yet this writer prefers to convey it through art and perhaps a good old simple amicable understanding with his quite sometime subject.

"Not to lose hope!"
-a concerned maiden despite parties and cocktails,
an answer to this writer's despair

Yna may be like any other girl most men used to see always in the streets of Recto and Morayta in Manila's "University Belt": having a long brown hair, carrying oriental features such as chinky eyed and white skinned, most likely to be loved by many as expected (especially semi bald guys who loved basketball and doing bragging rights crap), but then despite her appearance, her fond for parties and alcohol-laced cocktail mixes, this writer rather felt instead a woman with passion, concern and understanding that one of her friends often told this writer coming from the lady herself "not to lose hope"; obviously felt quite nice for a crew in the galleys whom became this writer's  close friend other than his inspiration.

Sorry to say so, but true to think that Marina Kuroshima, or her friends called her "Marina", "Marins", or this writer simply called "Yna" eases the heart-burnings and showered it with love the way geishas pour sake to her client with care.

Indeed, Never lose hope. For Marina, (god willing) thine unending grace also personifies Hope!

In fact, being inspired and to hear coming from a friend telling "never to lose hope" lays concern, or a degree of amicable love (contrary to the usual erotic love) that others may find it strange, to think that from the day Yna and this writer met in the restaurant, of looking at his sketches, and this time assisting at her thesis, of enjoying thine company, how come both came closer as friends regardless of the differences? Quite strange to to speak using the perspective of others, but at least she contributes a significant part of this writer's life: of raising him from the days of being in despair.

This writer knows that yes, despite the differences amity prevail. She may enjoy her clubbing and mixing cocktails, and this writer engaging in his writeups, going and watching political rallies and listening to bossa, but then amity prevails.

For now, she continues to serve in Captain's Galley in San Sebastian College as part of her practicum. This writer still continues to be one of its clients, and because of that he enjoys company with the professor, her kids, the chef, the crew, and of course...mu õnn ja rõõm: Yna.

Kristine...Revisited

Kristine...Revisited

Well, this writeup is made supposedly last May, but then this writer hath been preoccupied with other works as well as trying to have a series of brainstorming for this kind of work. In fact, this work is made also in response to an ad made by a prestigious clothing apparel that seemed to treat women as dog breeders. As it says:

"This is just all about Mixing and Matching...Call it biased, but the mixing and matching of different nationalities with Filipino blood is almost a sure formula for someone beautiful and world class."

Obviously, those words treating Filipinas for fucking is the most stupid of all ideas to be written for an advertisment all for the sake of calling a Filipina "world class."

...that made this writer think about a woman whose beauty is far from the stereotype what that ad stated.

In fact, it is kinda strange for this writer to revisit someone who haven't met in person, but then this so-called "revisit" perhaps recalls someone who also made him inspired for quite some time.

...especially in this few days of the sizzling sun yet this time carrying rain.

In fact, this writer consider Kristine as a vixen in this blog other than Jella, like in the earlier writeup she corresponds to the tropical setting as fresh that made others think of as exotic, submissive and seductive, but this writer think that she's not like any other third world girl that oftentimes see in porn or in the mindsets of the white men as rice dolls.

After all, she's one of the writer's muses when it comes to artwork.

Again, with a description such as having a beauty bronzed by the sun, with tattoos on her body, Kristine remained slim different from what comes today. And based on the pictures similar to last time's post, she still loves the sea and white sand to step in, whether it is Boracay, Pagudpud, Puerto Galera, perhaps this writer thinks that Kristine really loves to endure the heat and swam in the deep blue sea and be described by others whether as a "last virgin on earth" or "the most beautiful maiden in this world".

And perhaps since she's is a maiden of sun, sand, and sea, she may also love to sail, crusin' till night if she loves walking in the sand and swim. But then, regardless of her image, not all times Kristine ought to go to Boracay or Puerto Galera only to take pictures of her's with tattoos, with the overtly inspired may describe her as a "nymph" and thinking about her as similar to those with curvaceous bodies engaging in drinking liquor and parties.

But then, this writer rather think that yes, she's a "nymph" like any other girl whom he end up inspired, and yet Kristine somehow personifies the wild rose blooming somewhere and picked by someone to be placed in the altar of thine favorite avatar. The wild beauty of Kristine, like any other maiden that is molded by the presence of people is worthy of inspiring to those becoming free and rebellious as she personifies the molten steel that is to be forged into a weapon of life and death.

Quite admirable, lovable isn't she? That perhaps recalls one of this writer's sketches.

In fact, this writer, during those times he sought Kristine's pictures, was listening to some ethnic rock that made him drew that kind of artwork. Describing as a "Warrior", he thinks that her wild beauty, signified by her skin kissed by the sun, slim physique, and love of adventure also mirrors a warrior's endurance-remember Xena the warrior princess? The Valkyries that carried the slain for Valhalla? This writer made think that Kristine is more of a warlike beauty than a mere courtesan whose life is for show-offs.

...and not to forget the tattoos, especially the one in her private part that reminds of wildfire. Once, in an interview, Kristine said that her's as trimmed contrary to others who done shaved, well, quite natural so to think of that is well aligned with the tattoos that reminds of wildfire over the bushes. Sorry to those who may read upon and ridicule over this kind of matter, for sure artists would dare to sketch a maiden with a tattoo surrounding that maiden's vagina as part of their artwork.

That reminds of one writer in the Philippine Collegian being expelled for saying that the breasts of whom he end inspired "is like a coconut." Haha.

Perhaps, to be inspired more, next time better to see her in person and hear the music that eases the barren soul of the desperate.  Quite years to dealt with her via online chatting, but through these descriptions foster new wave of ideas, understanding and perhaps rapport between peoples regardless of different circles and understandings since this writer loves punk rock and winter, while Kristine loves rap and summer, it is no hindrance for both hates the flow that made everyone desensitized, stupid, nonsense than fun, free, and rebellious.

That made people think about mixing and matching the impure and what is not. Kristine can be a concoction of different races but still she is pure enough to be a Filipina. She doesn't need to become a model just to say "world class", but nevertheless, she's a vixen that made men harden, a rebel that made people rage, an image of a maiden of the tropic that made everyone inspire.

By the way, is this a comeback for Kristine as a "Vixen" in this site?

"Jella D Yoza" -a description of a last 'daring' Odalisque

"Jella D Yoza"
-A description of a last 'daring' Odalisque

Hipsters today love to take pictures for sake, but Jella perhaps would show the right way.

Well, to begin with over, this writeup is not entirely a continuation of an earlier one that tackles about camwhores, photography as a fad and attacks on "art for art's sake" ethic, as this topic focus entirely about a girl who tries to make her works "meaningful"-despite those who tend to think of it as merely "pornographic" (or 'delicious' rather).

As she, coming from the German region of Westphalia, Jella D Yoza somehow tends to make herself appealing to everyone both Deutsche and Filipino, especially that she lives in a land whom she described as a "fairy tale end came true." Quite nice isn't she as a Deutsche-Filipina then, so why not she also feature the beauty that is Westfalen!

And contrary to others who think of her as a "snobbish" person, Jella is somehow quite friendly and approachable despite her pictures that made some people think entirely as naughty. "I think theres nothing wrong with it." Jella said, "I'm doing it as an art...(and I'm doing it) because it makes me feel good."

That perhaps in this writeup would further elaborate what this beautiful Odalisque tells about over.

Differentiating expression and impression, art and (people mistaken as) porn
-regarding Jella D Yoza's pictures and "sexy" stuffs

Since through her pictures unveils expressions rather than mere attentions, Jella tends to unveil beauty and youth as its meaning behind it; she loves to show her curvaceous body and describe it as 'sexy', however, in feedbacks related to the pictures taken, most tend to think of it rather as overtly seductive as perverts tend to think of entirely. "If they're going to consider those pics as nudity or what." Jella said. "Or if they're going to consider me as a BITCH!"

Indeed, she puts reason behind those pictures commonly described as "sexy." In fact, she's even planning to have nude photography also. If so, then why not? She even justified having pictures featuring sexy figures as "details of how god created a beautiful humanity." And somehow those pictures Jella done tends to carry message other than the usual seductive matter. "It isn't always about for likes and fucking nudity." as what she said. "Its about being classy for every woman's vanity."

However, despite putting "sexiness" over the maiden's very own pictures, these aren't pornographic to think of-since she tries to make it artistic other than attention getting, but why the perversion as others tend to interpret subjectively? It doesn't mean she's doing it for sake unlike those who tend to do it merely for attention getting, as Jella even thinks of below 18 year olds doing "sexy pics" for sake (an alibi rather) as strange, same as those who hurriedly requesting for "fansigns" without patience as what Jella thinks of.

On popularity, posers, and other talents (to unveil of)

Anyways, in regards to the growing recognition, and perhaps popularity of this one of a kind maiden, Jella rather chose to remain humble. She's a down to earth person despite having more subscribers and friends in her Facebook profile, she even differentiate fans from subscribers so is subscribers from friends; and to think about popularity, she also differentiate those who remained humble and those who not: "Those who are 'popular' doesn't know how to owe a debt of gratitude. Will they be famous if not for these people? Will they be recognize? They didn't know that without their support they can't achieve what they've become."

Same as the posers who pretend they're 'Jella D Yoza' in Facebook. "Some of them are boastful...others  even mistaken me for a poser too."

Well, regardless of the popularity and the ones who tend to malign and heckle, Jella somehow tends to make her art meaningful as its priority. Obviously, there is a need to sort what is artistic and what is not in regards to the pictures taken, pictures are not even made entirely to impress but rather to express as it speaks 'louder' than words more than ever as of these days.

As Jella said:

"There is nothing wrong in making artworks, but for the sake of popularity and likes? Never! Instead there will be bad stuffs and mudslings to throw against you...And for all of that, the best thing that they should have and the best advice that I could give is that "BE READY FOR THE CONSEQUENCES. Do those things if you're RESPONSIBLE AND BRAVE enough to face the consequences. BE REAL!"

Indeed, be real as what that maiden said so, but obviously few would dare to act realistic in a world of pretensions as expected. In fact, she's not simply contented in looking at the lens and take shots all the time to express herself; as other than photography, she loves to sing and dance as part of her youthful, rebellious, expression: from folk dance, jazz, hiphop, and other kinds of moves willing to move upon, Jella described herself as having a flexible body the way she carries in her self-portraits despite needing for a good choreography; and as for music, she carries a good voice that also needs some coaching (well, this writer perhaps would help her support in her career then, why not? He had friends in the music industry too!). She even described herself as a "Maria Clara" although most tend to look at her as "Maria Ozawa," why not "Asia Agcaoili" instead? "Way to go Jella!" as what this writer would say about this (that perhaps serves as a break too).

As of these days, Jella D Yoza continues to do photography as her art, for sure she may also take time not  to limit her craft entirely to her 'self-portraits' such as the ones shown in this writeup; and she also wants everyone to wait for another set of pictures, perhaps this or next year; "depending on the setting and the want" so to think of, after all, she'll always be nice, lovely and sweet that will make your heart watered over with love.

That hence, made this writer describe Jella as a "Vixen of the Day." With drawings to be featured all based on her appearance.

And to this lovely Jella D Yoza, Good luck, there are more artworks to be done, all inspired.

For now, here's the video feat. the song "Madchen in Uniform" by the band Nachtmahr.

"Black and Red Roses for Kristine who also made the writer's works 'enchanted'"

"Black and Red Roses for Kristine
who also made the writer's works 'enchanted'"

Supposedly this work is to be done last 14, but this writer spent most of the time in the fair watching at the band singing about love and spending (one lyrics said about he wants to go on a date with his girl yet the price of gasoline ran high).

But this writeup doesn't speak much entirely about love most people think of. As this writer, so to speak, in fact admires women that inspires him to write poetry or to draw, in other words, muses that brings some "colour" and "enchantment."

Yet still he don't know why.

Anyways, Kristine, one of the writer's inspirations, is one example.

long haired, skin kissed by the sun, slim, quite merry in her appearance, Kristine, born in the tropical isles ravaged by corrupt order and its silent destruction carries a wild beauty far from the so-called "rice dolls" the west use to think of Filipinas so to speak; but within her beauty lies a burning passion to destroy the rotten order despite walking in the sand and staring at the blue waters of Boracay.

And despite having different musical genres usually heard (she loves rap and rnb much while this writer is addicted to rock and classics), it rather remains a matter not to be think of since respecting views is a must so to speak; and speaking of rap and rnb Kristine love most, this writer thinks that, different from any other girls who just simply 'join the flow', perhaps chooses which is pleasing to the ears and perhaps the message as well. For sure few girls do so as most, especially everyone else just simply grab and grab till they drown themselves in the 'flow' they join to.
Been there, been that as this writer would say, been a victim too.

As for the writer's view using his sketches, Kristine would be this:

Since she likes Latino culture most, perhaps this writer drew a sandinista or a Cuban version of her's.

Warlike beauty staring over the wild roses growing whilst carrying the FAL rifle means staring at the coming promise that is, been sworn being against the system. Remember Arlen Siu Bermúdez? Comrade Tania? Perhaps just been compelled to draw after making a politically-tainted writeup. Anyway, she's against the system though, a "Rose of war" to think of despite enjoying the cool summer breeze and warmth of the afternoon sun.

Otherwise, the other pic would be fit for a female warrior-in an ethnic style similar to the Aztecs (what Kristine wanted) and her Kapangpangan heritage:

In fact, Kristine, like any other girl whom I inspired in making works, carries a wild beauty not because of being "brown", but carries what is, admirable and inspiring-the way Amorsolo, Tolentino, or Botong Francisco tends to create their masterpieces feat. Filipinas wearing Balintawak or Kamison; this writer also thinks that speaking of being "brown", "morena", how come most tend to think of Filipino women carrying such beauty as "rice dolls", "whores" in the eyes of those who slander? Just because they're "exotic" in their very own appearance? For sure we see everything, from the media to the street exploits, degrades the beauty that is the brown-skinned Filipina (like Kristine, Gia,)  like those who just pose their bodies, especially in lingerie or shyly exposing their areolas in their nipples whilst looking at the mirror for sake or just to be called 'delicious.'

Sadly to say, most people are desensitized about these things happened all the time such as describing as 'delicious' (and nothing else) in the eyes of a pervert whilst posing.  By the way, this topic is about Kristine but why about 'delicious' again? Oh god!

Anyways, quite weird for this writer who made this writeup about a girl in a page full of art history, architecture, literature and...politics. But on the other hand, the tan-coloured girl who loved summer, beach and cool breeze, like a wild-grown rose, wants to be free from an unknown past, whether it is from an old relationship with a someone, or from the system she tries to resist.

As one poem says:

"And yet her beauty remains enchanted
And there's a new tune from her mind
A new magic from a loving face
To be inspired by amongst people to be as friends
To be loved by someone whom both cherished love
As they fought for freedom and to astonish the intruders."

And if so, then black and red roses to Kristine!
